Privacy Policy.
Who handles your information
DionisWeb is operated by Dionis Grecu, an individual freelancer based in the Republic of Moldova. For business enquiries and privacy requests, email dioniswebstudio@gmail.com.
Project enquiries and email contact
When the inquiry form is available, it asks for your full name, email address, service needed, estimated budget range, preferred timeline and project description. Business name is optional. Required fields help me assess and respond to your project; the form cannot submit without them. You can also contact me directly by email. Clicking an email link opens your email application and does not itself send a message.
If you email me, I receive your email address, the name associated with your message and any project details or attachments you choose to include. I use this information to understand your request, respond, discuss a possible project and prepare a quotation. Please avoid sensitive personal information and confidential material you do not have permission to share. Emailing me does not subscribe you to marketing.
Purposes and legal bases
I use inquiry details to assess requirements, respond to requested project discussions and prepare a quotation. Limited technical information is used to operate the website, investigate failures and prevent abuse and duplicate submissions. The form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Under Article 6 of Moldova’s Law No. 195/2024, I rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract when you enquire or request a quotation as the prospective contracting individual. For requested correspondence with a company’s representative, I rely on the legitimate interest of handling that company’s project request, rather than assuming the representative personally contracts with me.
I rely on legitimate interests to keep the website available, prevent spam and duplicate submissions, and investigate technical failures. For unsuccessful enquiries, the interest is preserving limited context to answer questions about the requested discussion or quotation if you return to it. Retention is limited to information still necessary for that purpose, not a marketing list or an obligation to keep every message for a year.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation by using the privacy email above. I will assess the objection under applicable law; deletion and continued processing are subject to the applicable conditions and exceptions.
Service providers
DionisWeb is operated from the Republic of Moldova and uses third-party services to host its website, protect its infrastructure, receive project inquiries, and communicate with prospective clients.
Depending on how you interact with our website, your personal information may be processed by:
- Netlify: website hosting, contact form processing, and related technical operations.
- Cloudflare: website traffic routing, infrastructure security, and related technical information.
- Resend: delivery of contact form notifications to our designated email address.
- Google (Gmail): receipt, storage, and management of email correspondence through a personal Gmail account.
Website infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request information and security logs to deliver and protect the website. After server validation, Resend sends the inquiry notification to my Gmail inbox. Your email is used as Reply-To so I can respond; it does not choose the sender or destination. There is no separate website inquiry database.
Provider information is available from Netlify, Cloudflare, Google and Resend. Providers may also process account, security and service data for their own purposes.
Successful submission confirms that Resend accepted the notification for sending, not that inbox delivery was independently confirmed. Errors preserve your entries in the current form. If sending is unavailable, use the public email address instead. Application delivery logs contain a request identifier, timing/status and potentially a provider message identifier, not deliberately the raw inquiry, email addresses, secrets or raw IP addresses. Hosting and provider logs are separate.
Browser storage and tracking
The form uses functional session storage for a random submission token, a fingerprint derived from submitted fields, a timestamp and an acceptance flag to reduce duplicate inquiries. It does not store the raw inquiry in that record. The fingerprint is derived data, not a guarantee of anonymity. An unchanged inquiry may reuse its token for up to 23 hours; this is not a deletion deadline. The record normally lasts for the tab session until cleared or replaced; browser session restoration may affect its lifetime. The website does not load advertising, analytics or session-recording vendors or set analytics cookies.
Retention and deletion
Project enquiries that do not lead to collaboration are retained for up to 12 months after the last genuine communication. They may be deleted sooner when no longer necessary or when a valid deletion request applies. I have adopted monthly review and selective deletion to apply this maximum.
Active-project records and records subject to other legal retention requirements are handled separately; this rule does not set their retention periods. Deleting a message under my control does not automatically erase provider logs, recovery copies or backups. Moving a Gmail message to Trash does not immediately remove every provider copy. Resend publishes a 30-day retention period for email content, metadata, events, logs and metrics. This product policy and the inquiry-retention rule do not establish the deletion date of every provider backup or independently retained security or legal record.
International data processing
These providers may process or store information outside the Republic of Moldova, including in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate.
We use these services for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and aim to limit the personal information collected and shared to what is reasonably necessary.
International processing and transfers are subject to applicable data protection requirements. Depending on the service, relevant protections may include contractual arrangements, applicable standard contractual clauses, or other legally recognised mechanisms, where their conditions are met. We do not represent that a particular mechanism applies to every transfer without confirming its applicability.
You may contact us at dioniswebstudio@gmail.com to request further information about the processing of your personal data, relevant service providers, and available information concerning applicable transfer safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or use contact form submissions for unsolicited marketing.
Privacy requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, request portability or complain to a competent authority. Use the privacy email above and briefly identify your request and relevant correspondence. I may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and locate records; please do not send identity documents unless necessary and specifically requested.
I will respond within the periods required by applicable law and explain any lawful restriction, refusal or permitted extension. Deletion is not unconditional and does not automatically remove every provider backup. You may complain to the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova and, where applicable, another competent authority.
